The search is on for the first Miss Africa Yorkshire. We are looking for a lady who is committed to improving the lives of young people in UK that has the community at heart and is ready to use her position as a youth ambassador to act as a role model for young Africans.
Miss Africa Yorkshire is founded on the basis of advancing the cause for women of African descent.
The Miss Africa Yorkshire Pageant is managed by CARE cfe a registered charity in the UK. The mission of CARE cfe is based on giving back to humanity especially Africa where need cannot be over-emphasised.
The Pageant hopes to groom African Queens as great Ambassadors for humanity, advocating for the needy by carrying out projects in UK and Africa. The pageant redefines the African woman as a leader and a vital partner in the development of Africa and the world.
This is a non-political, non-partisan platform for young women to achieve personal growth and development and take pride in their heritage, discover their inner beauty in achieving their humanitarian goals in life and laying a strong foundation as leaders of the future.
Pageant delegates are simply ordinary women of African descent living in Yorkshire and facing every day challenges of growing up in two different cultures, and it takes a strong woman to appreciate the British and the African culture as well as being proud of their heritage.
